From 26.5% to 70.8% in six months
One of the leading CPG distributors in Puerto Rico. More than 175 people and more than 300 points of sale.
The challenge: running on faith
In January 2022, only 26.5% of point-of-sale executions met the standard. Almost three out of four did not.
And nobody knew. No management team can visit every store or verify every execution. Reports showed the best visits, and WhatsApp photos got reused.
What changed
1Evidence on every visit
Every execution recorded with photo, location and timestamp.
2One standard
Everyone measured against the same checklist, on every route.
3Visibility for management
Supervisors see in dashboards what was met, what was not, and where to act.
When a team knows the measure is fair and that management sees its work, it starts taking pride in it.
Results
- 26.5% → 70.8% of executions approved between January and July 2022: 2.7 times the starting level.
- April 2022: for the first time, approved executions outnumbered failed ones.
- More than 39,000 executions recorded between January and July 2022.
- The change held: a 63.8% average over the following nine months.
Do you know how much your team meets the standard today?
Strategy sets the direction. Execution determines the results. When data is reliable and verifiable, a company stops guessing and decides on evidence.
